The 2nd International Conference on Electronic Information, Computer Science and Aerospace Remote Sensing (EICARS 2026) Concluded Successfully

From August 14 to 16, 2026, the 2nd International Conference on Electronic Information, Computer Science and Aerospace Remote Sensing (EICARS 2026) was held in Room 204, Annex Building of Ce Wen School of Business, Wuyi University. The conference brought together experts and scholars from numerous universities, research institutes, and industry enterprises across the country, establishing an interdisciplinary academic dialogue platform to discuss cutting-edge technologies and industrial development in the fields of electronic information, computer science, and aerospace remote sensing. The conference was hosted by Wuyi University, organized by the School of Electronic and Information Engineering of Wuyi University and the Department of Aerospace Information of the School of Electronic and Information Engineering of Beihang University, and co-organized by Beihang University, Sun Yat-sen University, South China University of Technology, Jinan University, Guangdong University of Technology, the Key Laboratory of Tropical Smart Agriculture Technology of South China, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the Agricultural Machine Vision Committee of the Guangdong Society of Image and Graphics.

At the opening ceremony, Prof. Zhiping Peng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Wuyi University, and Mr. Man Lin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Asset Management Company of Jinan University, as well as Captain of the Jinan University Support Team toWuyi University, delivered welcome speeches. The opening ceremony was presided over by Ms. Guirong Zhang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Electronic and Information Engineering of Wuyi University. Prof. Bing Sun from Beihang University, Prof. Shuqiang Huang from Jinan University, and Prof. Yikui Zhai, Executive Associate Dean of the School of Electronic and Information Engineering of Wuyi University, along with other leading experts from relevant fields, attended the conference.

During the keynote session, seven distinguished scholars presented their cutting-edge research findings. The seven presentations were distinctive in theme and diverse in perspective, covering traditional strengths such as signal processing, wireless communications, and remote sensing, while also addressing emerging interdisciplinary fields including integrated sensing, communication, computing, and intelligence, as well as low-altitude economy intelligent perception. Together, they presented a complete research chain from fundamental theoretical breakthroughs and key technology developments to practical application deployment.

Two parallel sub-forums were held concurrently during the conference. The Graduate Academic Forum featured oral presentations by young scholars from Beihang University, Sun Yat-sen University, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), North China Electric Power University, Southwest Petroleum University, Zhejiang Ocean University, and Wuyi University. The presentations covered multiple research directions including remote sensing change detection, small object detection, industrial anomaly detection, fire smoke recognition, and defect detection, fully demonstrating the latest research progress of young researchers. Based on rigorous paper review by the organizing committee experts, four categories of awards were presented on-site: Excellent Student Paper, Excellent Paper, Best Student Paper, and Best Paper.

The Smart Agriculture Development Forum primarily featured invited expert presentations, with distinguished professors from multiple universities, research fellows from institutes, and industry experts delivering special talks. In-depth discussions were conducted around industrial AI visual inspection, modern agricultural laser irradiation, AI-enabled livestock farming, remote sensing big data for ecological environment, and agricultural AI digital twin construction, facilitating exchanges on industry-academia-research application experiences. The academic atmosphere on-site was vibrant and engaging.

This conference has established an interdisciplinary academic exchange platform connecting universities, research institutions, and industries, effectively promoting innovation and application deployment of interdisciplinary technologies in electronic information, computer science, and aerospace remote sensing. It has gathered intellectual resources and injected strong technological momentum for the high-quality intelligent development of related fields.
